Blatt had always had a passion for achieving professional success since he was a child and this motivation made him develop an interest in exploration. After graduating from high school, he went and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature at Colgate University. Consequently, he made a decision to travel and look for professional careers that would satisfy his needs.
In his exploration, Gregg went to numerous places including Budapest, Reims, Colorado, and France. He worked in several jobs which made his motivation to achieve professional success grow further. Blatt earned his Juris Doctor Degree at Columbia University Law School where he specialized in corporate law.
Soon after, he joined Watchell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a firm based in New York, and quickly started to rise among the ranks. Even though he had interests in corporate law, Gregg still wanted to satisfy his ambitions and this made him partake in entertainment law.
Blatt served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia after joining the newly founded company in 1999. These roles made him gain various skills in the entertainment law domain. Afterwards, in 2003, Blatt joined IAC as a General Counsel and Executive Vice President and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2009.
Greg Blatt was put in charge of several operations, including managing the online dating platform, Tinder. The online dating platform domain made him start the Match Group based in Dallas, which became a gigantic success, generating at least 75% IAC’s income.
From 2015 to 2017, Greg Blatt served as the Chairman and CEO of Match Group. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, he acted as the Executive Chairman. He was also the CEO and Executive Chairman of Tinder from 2015 to 2017. Blatt also took on several roles as General Counsel and Executive Vice President in Business Affairs at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from 1999 to 2003.
